As we stand on the brink of entering a new year, its a good time to reflect on how the current year went by. The ups and downs gives us valuable lessons to learn and apply. As a christian, it was very sad to see how thugs vandalised churches and pastors who lead the society in the ways of peace and harmony. Towards Christmas, the attacks intensified to a bigger level as christmas decorations and festivities were vandalised in malls and public places. India has the potential to lead the world, but when education and civility takes a back seat, it becomes a perfect recipe for degradation of society. Many pastors and social workers are jailed because of the draconian anti conversion laws. We also see a disturbed neighbourhood . Uprisings in Nepal and Bangladesh and the Indo-Pak clashes and tensions have put the sub continent on the edge.

Indo-US relationship is also not on a great trajectory and increased racial tensions across nations have put many in a limbo. AI adoption in companies saw many lose their jobs and stranded.

On the spiritual side we saw false doctrines and teachers being exposed. We need to step up our knowledge of God's word and follow His ways with all our heart. There is no substitute for Bible reading and application of its principles in our life.

2026 is on us in a few hours as we face greater prospects of war, tensions and societal unrest. As children of God, we need to keep up our faith. We need to willingly devote times of prayer and intercession for the world around us. We need to build up strong families with godly values in these tough and perilous times. Church life should be taken seriously and we should give ourselves to the work of God.

Some resolutions you can consider:

1)Spend atleast 30 mts everyday morning in the presence of God(Praying, reading God's word, Singing).

2)Not missing any church programs.

3)Spending less time in social media and more time into reading, building up skills.

4)Eat healthy food and wholesome diet.

5)Have quality family time.

6)Be an encourager.
