The Beast or the Lamb? Whom will you worship? 2025 shocked us enough with wars. The one in our neighbourhood in April and the recent 12 day war in the middle east could have escalated beyond all proportion. Yet in all this we can see the Lord’s prophetic clock in action. Ezekiel 38’s key players are in the picture now. Never forget the word of God has eternal significance and powerful implications. Revelation 13 talks about the Beast that arises from the sea with the authority given by the Dragon. The dragon is the ancient serpent,the accuser of the brethren who is Satan(Rev 20:2). So we see a society where the dragonic influence exists. This beast has all the capabalities of the ancient empires. It resembled like a leopard(Swiftness to take over a system), the feet like the bear(So its operational region could be Medo-Persian empire, present day Iran/Middle east) and it had a mouth that talked like a lion(babylon-pride of Nebuchadnezzar). It had 7 heads and 10 horns(Resemblance to Roman empire).

The Beast also had a wound that was healed miraculously. Some of our modern day leaders like Ayatollah Khamenei (Supreme leader of Iran or Rahbar) , Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu all survived assissination attempts. In one way its hard to believe that they survived it all. So is the beast a person or a system? Irrespective of whether its a person or system we see that the Beast succeeded in deceiving the whole world. (Rev 13:14) Many scholars equate the beast to past tyrannical figures like Caesar Nero. It could be true but when we live in the light of the word, we can see this fulfilled in our times too. The aim of the beast is only to deceive the world to worship the dragon. “People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast,”(Rev 13:4)

Choice is ours whether we will worship the beast, the culture the beast spews on us or will be follow and worship the Lamb who is worthy of all glory and honor.(Rev 5:12) Your everyday choice matter, your everyday worship and devotion matter. Maranatha!
