Glimmer of peace!

After two years of continuous war, the middle east appears to have embraced the path of peace. It was quite a day when on the eve of Simchat Torah, President Donald Trump addressed the Knesset and thanked the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob . President Trump talked much about the role of Steve Witkoff, his special envoy to the Middle east. His efforts paid off and all of the twenty hostages who were alive were returned back. There seems to be some delay in returning the remains of the hostages who were killed in captivity and that could cause trouble.

The role played by the surrounding nations like Egypt, Turkiye, Qatar etc were appreciated by President Trump. Dialogue and negotiations always solve complex issues. Sometimes when things go beyond our control we should always keep up the hope and pray for good leaders to rise up who got the power and authority to help steer our lives in peace and godliness. Decisive leadership, brilliant strategy, relentless efforts and great work by stakeholders brought the world to this moment. For now let's relish these moments of peace and hope for good sense to prevail.
