5787 and World Outlook!

Artificial intelligence (AI) could wipe out humanity this decade, according to three researchers working at Anthropic. One of the employees, Jacob Coxon, has quit the AI firm.

His predictions were backed by two other current Anthropic researchers in posts on social media. On X, Coxon claimed: “The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a marketing stunt.”

Very soon after this statement - Dario Amodei , the CEO of Anthropic called for AI development slowdown. We are living in crazy times. With wars not just in the battlefield, but in trade and AI tech- we are all facing this great shift in human history. 

The nations are now clearly at loggerheads with each other. The Russia-Ukraine war on one side and the Iran-US on the other front and now hostilities between Saudi and the Houthis have clearly aggravated the supply chain logistics. The Strait of Hormuz and the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb is virtually blocked and it will affect world economies. With inflation increasing and jobs disappearing, the catastrophic effects will be felt by everyone.

The new Jewish year 5787 is all set to be a thriller. The Hebrew letters תשפ״ז (Tav, Shin, Peh, Zayin) represent the Jewish year 5787. On the face value Peh and Zayin stands for Refined or Pure Gold(Paz).

The decrees of the Lord are firm,and all of them are righteous.They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold;(Psalm 19:9-10)

We should not get away from the truth of God's Word. Desire them so much this year.

When we go through testing times we should be like Job who said-"But he knows the way that I take;when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold."(Job 23:10)

Zayin also resembles a sword. The judgement of the Lord is upon the nations. We should take up the role of being an intercessor to cry for the mercy of God.

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,  “Son of man, prophesy and say, ‘This is what the Lord says:’ Say,

‘A sword, a sword sharpenedAnd also polished!Sharpened to make a slaughter,Polished to flash like lightning!’"(Eze 21:8-9)

Judgement of God comes when we are not convicted by the double edged sword of God's word(Heb 4:12)

Seven also denotes completion, fulfilment and rest. The Lord created the world in six days and took rest on the seventh. We definitely for sure know that His coming is so very near. The Lord expects us to take it all to Him in prayer. Give all your anxieties, cares and worries to the Lord. Let Him give you rest(Matt 11:28-29)
